The Bride Wore Martin Thornburg "Wyomia" To Her NYC Themed Wedding In South Carolina
August 20, 2018
A Spring wedding in the South calls for a beautiful dress and Amy chose Martin Thornburg "Wyomia." This strapless, lace appliqué tulle and organza over taffeta ball gown with sweetheart neckline, drop waistline and full skirt is perfection. Amy is a gorgeous bride and "Wyomia" was an excellent choice! You must scroll down to view the incredible images by Jennifer Stuart Photography. We love the home of James C. Furman (first president of Furman University) where Amy and her girls got ready, as well as Furman's Charles E.Daniel Memorial Chapel! Such elegance and old world charm. And you must check out her reception venue: Wyche Pavilion. Having beautiful backdrops really does make for amazing photographs! Amy's words:
"My husband and I were married on April 7, 2018 in Greenville, South Carolina. We both met and live in New York City so we had a NYC theme at our reception, but with a southern touch. We had NYC street signs on each table (Times Square, Central Park West, East 73rd Street, etc), a welcome sign with the NYC Skyline, a photography book with NYC architecture for our guest book, entrance song to New York, New York), a photo booth with NYC themed props, and southern food including shrimp, grits and cookie favors from a local cookie shop. It was an evening wedding at a chapel, and reception at an outside venue on the water. My dress was Martin Thornburg Wyomia in Ivory. I got it in New York City at RK Bridal."
